Reducing the risk of chafing We have selected a technical yarn with a specific coating (PTFE) at the heel and toe to reduce rubbing and therefore the risk of blisters. In no circumstances do these socks provide 100% protection from blisters. Blisters usually appear when our skin is weakened by chafing, generally caused by socks, shoes or foreign bodies. Humidity also plays an important role as it weakens our skin. Choosing the height of your socks We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf. How to correctly select hiking socks Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes
